Future Academy Award Winner….Robyn Paigé
“Robyn was born dramatic,” as her mom, Marjorie, would say, “My child is quite the entertainer.” She is an outgoing, bubbly, and goofy character. Growing up, Robyn would express herself in different voices, well characters. You have “Robynette” who is the southern belle with quite the charm. You have “Roberta” who was raised down in the south. You have “Ronesha” who is this ghetto girl from New Orleans. You have “Robina” who was brought up in the Bronx, “Robbie” who is this chick from the valley, and finally “Roro” who is this gal from the islands.

“Robyn would perform when we go out. She and her friend, Chanel, would talk in different voices to express themselves. We often thought that something was wrong with them, like personality disorders or something. I used to ask what is wrong with my child but they were just having fun and being creative.” -Marjorie Matthews
“Acting is being realistic in the imaginary world,” is what her instructor Duke Ken instilled in her. Robyn realized she wanted to be an actress when she was first casted into the play, School Blues. She loves channeling her inner self into a new personality. She enjoys taking different roles that are opposite of her own personality and bringing characters to life. Robyn’s favorite actresses include Angela Bassett, Sanaa Lathan, Taraji P. Henson, Cameron Diaz, Nia Long, Meagan Good, Halle Berry, and Shailene Woodley. Robyn is determined to break down any barriers that may come her way. Each day is a day of learning, embracing, and achieving.
Fun Fact: Robyn rapped at her Oscar Meyer Weiner commercial audition on August 13, 1998.
